    LCEC Upgrade Project Status

    The Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC) is undertaking a massive project to upgrade and replace all electrical lines and transformers on the island. The project will commence in the coming weeks and will first cover the southernmost streets of Panama Shell, Butterfly Shell, Oyster Shell, and Conch Shell.     On Wednesday, May 17th, the Upper Captiva Civic Association (UCCA) will hold a Town Hall Zoom with Lieutenant Mike Sawicki of the Lee County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
