    Island Fest 2019 is Almost Here!

    Each year the Upper Captiva Civic Association  (UCCA) sponsors a fund raiser called Island Fest.     Hello Fellow Islanders, Island Cleanup Day is Saturday, Feb. 16. Please meet at the Fire Station around 9:00 AM to receive your assignments. As usual, all participants will receive coupons for free beans & rice at Barnacle’s, as well as the thanks of all Islanders.     Road Improvements Continue

    The roads are continuing to improve thanks to the diligent efforts of the Fire District. After the original successful project to rework a significant section of the main road from Safety Harbor to the airstrip, there was an additional project completed with leftover material from that project to rework Seair drive which greatly improved the quality of that section of road.
