• About Us

The Upper Captiva Civic Association (UCCA) was founded in 1992 with the goals of providing a forum in which to address common community concerns, coordinating efforts that enhance the quality of island life, keeping island owners up to date on important events through frequent communication, and to serve as a link with local and state government. We are dedicated to the preservation of our natural resources and unique wildlife such as indigo snakes, gopher tortoises, sea turtles, and innumerable bird species. Additionally, we coordinate events and activities designed to build community including Island Cleanup, fundraisers, and quarterly meetings.

  • With more than 100 members, the UCCA is the largest organization on North Captiva, and is supported by a majority of home owners. Membership is voluntary and annual dues are just $50.00. In addition to member benefits, including special member content on the website, access to the UCCA phone directory, and quarterly newsletters, you will have the knowledge you are supporting community minded island activities that benefit us all.

Please join us and participate in all of these worthy Island events and be a part of a group of people looking to make our Island a better place for all of us.
